archway

Channeled from Archangel Michael, Archangel Raphael, and David Bowie, Guidance & Inspiration From the Angelic Realm is intended to provide you with not only spiritual guidance, but concentrating on the channeled phrases on the cards helps you to connect with your angels & spirit guides.

For the story of how this oracle deck came to be, please visit my deck’s blog.

The deck is all hand-created. I hand-painted the watercolor gouache backgrounds in color combinations I was shown so the colors associated with each phrase are also channeled. I created the font by hand and each phrase is handwritten, not computer-generated. Each original image was attuned to Reiki up to the master degree and also attuned to the * Clear Iridescent Energy Ray (* CIER) that is  a new healing modality Archangel Michael is introducing to us at this time.

Please note that this is a self-published deck. As such it will have a limited print-run. I cannot guarantee how long copies will be available & please understand I am unable to hold copies in reserve.

Your deck arrives:

The Way Card Oracle deck review

The WayCard Oracle: A Guide to the Inner JourneyUsually, an oracle deck consists of cards containing images, a title, and perhaps a few keywords. The WayCard Oracle is quite different from typical decks. It does not have a single image other than an arrow pointing up on the card back and as a watermark on the card image. Other than the arrow, each card has a single word in a dark green italic font.

The WayCard Oracle begins with the Hero/heroine card, which represents each of us. The deck continues with a card for each of the Elements and the remaining cards are named for life stages and experiences we all encounter at various times in our lives.

The WayCard Oracle contains a total of 33 cards that measure 3 x 5″. The card finish is matte and there is no heavy laminate. The WayCard Oracle is housed within a 6 x 9 x 1″ hinged lidded box with magnetic closure that can be stored upright on its end like a book. Those with card collections as large as mine (294 as of this blog post) will appreciate this as that style of box conserves much-needed bookshelf space.

The guidebook is a 6 x 9″ paperback containing 96 pages. There is a brief introduction, a section about how to use the deck, and the card interpretations. Car interpretations consist of a number of keywords, an applicable quote from a visionary; such as, Joseph Campbell, Jean Houston, Hildegarde of Bingen, among others.

The WayCard Oracle is meant to be used more for introspection and guidance. The deck creator, Martha Winona Travers, states that there is no yes or no card, but she does provide a few sample questions to demonstrate how a question requiring a yes/no answer can be restructured so that The WayCard Oracle can properly address the question.

I find that The WayCard Oracle provides insightful readings. I recommend it to those of you who may find the typical oracle and tarot imagery to be distracting. It is an interesting system that reminds of me other such decks, most notably, The Universal Cards by Juliet Jaffray Hubbs and Nora Monaco, which also works very well, and The Dolphin Divination Cards by Nancy Clemens. The guidebook for The WayCard Oracle is very well written. It contains thorough card interpretations along with suggestions as to how best to integrate the energy of each card into your life.

Blessings!

Review: Carry Me Crystals oracle deck

Carry Me Crystals: Chakra Clearing & Oracle Card DeckHow often have you carried crystals and stones in a pocket or your purse in order to keep their positive energies with you? I am sure the majority of those who read this blog have done this at least a few times in their lives. I myself have done this countless times and I also wear jewelry that features my favorite stones and crystals.

Some of us do not have easy access to a shop that sells stones and we may be hesitant to purchase them online as we’re not sure about the quality of the product we would be receiving. The solution to this dilemma is now here in the form of Carry Me Crystals: Chakra Clearing & Oracle Card Deck by Elizabeth & Peter Jarvis, and the channeling of Yeshua by Joanie Eisinger. This oracle deck is meant to serve as a substitute when the actual stones are not readily or easily available to you.

The Carry Me Crystals consists of 44 cards, each depicting a different crystal or stone. The cards are accompanied by a 6 x 9” full color 96-page guidebook. The cards themselves measure 3 ½ x 2 ½”. Each card contains a full color photograph of a particular type of stone or crystal on one side and a brief description of its qualities on the opposite side. My favorite is Amethyst because purple is my favorite color.  The Amethyst card reads, “You are welcoming energy and Light is shining through your crown chakra. Please use when sad and needing re-energizing.” The guidebook has a 2-page spread on Amethyst and explains it is the stone of both the third eye and crown chakras. Various qualities and uses of Amethyst are noted.

The cards and guidebook are housed in a 6 x 9 x 1 ½” box with hinged lid and magnetic closure. It can be stored standing on its end like a book. This is one of the hallmarks of Schiffer deck publications.

The cards have a semi-gloss matte finish to them. They are not laminated so I would actually not recommend that you carry them around with you as you would a real stone. Instead, what I have done with my set is to keep one to three cards visible and I look at them and contemplate the properties of those particular stones and how they pertain to my life and my chakras as I go about my day. I am sure to display the cards I have chosen for my day in a prominent location so that I see them as I pass nearby several times a day.

Another use I have for the Carry Me Crystals is to ask what I need to work on. I then will draw 1 – 3 cards and read their descriptions in the book. I can always relate to some aspect of the properties of the stone or I may realize that I need whatever energy that stone possesses for something I need to work on in my life. I will then display those cards and refer to them throughout the day or even for a few days at a time. I will also draw 1 – 3 cards if I am feeling out of sorts and I ask which chakras need work or healing. I am always amazed when I pull 2 cards depicting stones or crystals that relate to the same chakra. A few times all three cards have related to the same chakra so I know for sure which chakra needs the most work at that particular time.

The Carry Me Crystals is a good reference to own. It not only depicts very clear photos of each stone (the same photo that is depicted on the card is also used for the guidebook), but it also tells you how that stone can work for you and your chakras. I took the guidebook with me when I went to a rock shop recently and used it as my personal shopping list. The guidebook was a huge help to me as it also helped me to assess the quality of the stones I saw in person based on the photographs in the guidebook.

I recommend the Carry Me Crystals to anyone who is interested in stones and crystals. It makes for a nice little reference and as I noted earlier, the cards can be set out where you will see them throughout the day or carried with you in a wallet or purse so that the energy of the stones can affect you in positive ways through their photographs.

Blessings!

The Mystical Wisdom Card Deck Review

Mystical Wisdom Card DeckThe Mystical Wisdom Card Deck is a lovely collection of artwork by renowned artist, Josephine Wall. The card-sized paperback booklet is written by Gaye Guthrie. The deck and booklet are housed in a 4 1/8 x 5 7/8” box with fitted lid. The box has a glossy finish with the image from the Peacock card on the box lid. Two additional cards are featured on the bottom of the box with isolated elements of card images on all four sides of the lid.

The guidebook for The Mystical Wisdom Card Deck contains 64 pages with two pages labeled for notes. Gaye Guthrie begins with a brief discussion of how to use the deck. This is followed by the interpretations of the cards. A 3 x 1 ¼” black and white detail of each card appears on the page followed by the card’s interpretation that concludes with what the author refers to as a “mantra,” which many will also recognize as a positive affirmation. No information is provided on how to use the mantras. Myself, when I am using a positive affirmation I repeat it five times in front of a mirror as I look myself in the eye. I do this three times a day. Repeating a statement five times assures that it reaches the subconscious. Looking at yourself in the mirror while using an affirmation or mantra focuses your conscious mind on whatever you are hoping to manifest by using the affirmation or mantra. One page is devoted to each card and its interpretation. The guidebook concludes with a section entitled, “Reading the Cards.” This consists of a one-card spread, a three-card spread, a four-card spread and the Celtic Cross that is usually found in most Tarot guidebooks.

There are 46 cards in The Mystical Wisdom Card Deck. Cards measure 3 ¾” x 5 ½”. They have a nice smooth laminate semi-gloss finish and shuffle easily once you’ve broken them in a bit. Josephine Wall’s artwork is gorgeous. She makes wonderful use of bright colors and light. Images have a flow that gives them a sense of movement and inner life. When using the deck I recommend that you allow your eyes to wander over each image. Something specific will pop out at you and grab your attention (at least for me). If this happens pay special attention to that symbol or color that is calling to you because there is additional meaning for you. There are three angel cards (Archangels Gabriel and Raphael, and the Angel of Miracles), eight animal guide cards (Animal Bond, Dolphin, Dove, Dragon, Dragonfly, Owl, Peacock, and Unicorn), and thirty-five additional insightful cards for guidance.

The Mystical Wisdom Card Deck is very simple to use. It is ideal for beginners because it does not contain any images that some may find frightening or upsetting. The images have a healing vibration to them and are soothing to the psyche. The card spreads are very simple to use and there are simple explanations included in the guidebook as to how to use the card spreads. All of these factors combined make The Mystical Wisdom Card Deck an ideal deck for beginners. I also consider this deck to be suitable for children who may be interested in exercising their intuitive muscles.

Here is a sample of how the deck works. I used the 4-card spread. My husband, who has been out of work since last October, decided in December to start his own business. He provides in-home care for the elderly in order to keep them in their own homes for as long as that is physically possible for them. It’s been touch and go with getting started up so I asked what we could expect from his new business venture regarding income. The cards I received are as follows:

Mystical Wisdom Deck

Past: Epiphany ~ the meaning of this card is a sudden realization. This occurred in early December when my husband suddenly realized the banking industry was not for him. I had been telling him this for years, but of course he doesn’t listen to me, but I’m glad he finally woke up!

Present: Seven Heavenly Virtues ~ this card neatly sums up what his business will provide others since the Seven Heavenly Virtues are Faith, Hope, Charity, Fortitude, Justice, Patience and Temperance. This card sums up his need to put his spiritual gifts to work, which is exactly what he is finally doing.

Future: Archangel Raphael ~ the archangel of healing blesses my husband’s business. I am amazed that the term “caregiver” is used here because those are the people my husband has employed and he refers to them as his Care Team. They focus on helping the person with whatever they need, taking them out, and providing companionship.

Outcome: Money ~ the advice of this card is to be strong and the money will come in, so in a nutshell the Money card answered my question. I swear I did not pull these cards purposefully. This was a completely random draw. I am very pleased with how each card of this spread applied to my husband’s business situation.

I have just begun to use the card images for meditation. Josephine Wall’s art is so intricate that your eyes will not get bored as you center yourself and examine the same card image for a few minutes. The card images of The Mystical Wisdom Card Deck lend themselves easily to meditation. I also feel that with proper focus, intention and use of the included mantras they can be used as an additional tool for spell work for those of you who are practitioners.

As you can see, The Mystical Wisdom Card Deck is very user friendly. I highly recommend it to those new to divination as well as to those who may find Tarot to be a bit too daunting or frightening. I also feel that children would love this deck if they are interested in card reading.

Blessings!
